SAFETY OF REFUGEES.

EVACUATION BY BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) Received July 31. 11.55 a.m. RUGBY, July 30. At question time Viscount Cranborne said that, as a result of the service organised by the acting-British Consul with the assistance of the Red Cross, about one thousand Spanish noncombatants had b<°n evacuated from Madrid, via Valencia. The evacuation had been entirely impartial and bad been facilitated by the Spanish Government.
