The first group of 400 peasants. from Romagna will go to Abyssinia on October 28 and settle in tlie Amhara region. Other groups will leave for Harrar in 1939 and for Sidnmo in 1941. The Nazis at Innsbruck are strenuously attempting to conceal the fact that a Jew, Egon Dubsky. lias been conducting a Nazi propaganda centre and managing the Nazi funds, which is illegal in Austria. A dismissed chauffeur, who is also a Nazi, denounced Dubsky and a wealthy distillery owner to the police, in February. The police raided Dubsky’s house and found a press for printing Nazi literature and anti-Jewish pamphlets. Dubsky was summarily sentenced to six months’ gaol and will be further charged in the regular Courts. ' MELBOURNE, July 31. The Lawn Tennis Association Council has decided to cancel the proposed Australian tour late this year, by an English women’s team consisting of Alisses Hardwick, James, Ingram, Hoeley and Whitmarsli, “owing to the standard of the team not being such as to assure the success of the tour.” SYDNEY, July 31.

The Full Court of the Supreme Court dismissed with costs the application by Beaumont Tudor Rliiel that tlie proprietors and publishers of Smith’s Weekly should be dealt with for alleged contempt of Court for having published an article which was likely to prejudice tlie fair trial of fin action begun by him against Lady Ivingsford Smith, executrix of the will of the late Sir Charles Ivingsford Smith.
