LONGBURN v. ST. PATRICK’S. An interesting table tennis match was played this week in the Longburn Hall, when a team from the St. Patrick’s Table Tennis Club played their C grade competition match with the Longburn B team. The weekly by members of the Sports and Pastimes Club for the Birch Badges resulted in a win after keen play for Mr R. Dilks in the men’s section and Miss Joyce Holland in the ladies’ section.

The Longburn A team in the C grade visited Terrace End for their competition match, being successful by 32 to 4. For the rvinners games were won by R. Dilks 6, M. Sherriffs 6, E. Catterick 6, W. Dilks 3, H. Temperton 5, J. Holland 4.
