MANCHESTER ST. SCHOOL.

FANCY DRESS BALL. Twelve months have passed since pupils of the Manchester Street School last had their game of “Let’s pretend,” and last evening in the Drill Hall the fascination of fancy dress drew some 350 children to the annual school fancy dress ball. Some of those who paraded in the grand march last year in fancy costume have left the school, and in consequence did not take part last evening, but the younger children who participated made every endeavour to outdo their former fancy dress efforts.
