TASMAN SEA RECORD.
NO PLANS FOR AWATEA. Received July 31, 10.50 a.m. SYDNEY, July 31. The Union Steam Ship Co. has no plans at present for an attempt by the Awatea to break the Tasman Sea record. “We are more interested in maintaining schedule than in records,” said an official of the company.
