GIRL MISSING.
SEARCH IN NEVADA. NEW YORK, July 31. A wide search lias begun by State and Federal officers in Nevada, U.S.A., for a thirteen-year-old girl, Olive Carr, whose father feared she was enticed away with promises of riches to California by a man who it is thought killed her in a nearby desert. The man left a note saying: “You will never take me alive.”
