Country visitors to Palmerston North to' seo the Springbok football match will be pleased to know that arrangements have been made for retailers to keep open until 1.30 p.m., and reopen again at 4.15 p.m., in orde/ - to give Visitors ample opportunity to no their shopping while in town. Although retailers were anxious to give their staffs an opportunity to witness the match, it was desired that the public visiting the town should be given the best possible service, and so arrangements were accordingly made to close only during a short period ot the afternoon.
