THE LEADERS IN VICTORIA. Received August. 2. 9.5 a.m. MELBOURNE. Aug. 2. For the first time in his career, \V. El'iot headed the winning jockeys’ list, riding 52 winners and one dead-heat. Skidmore, with 40 winners, was second. I H. Freedman and J. Holt tied among the trainers with 13 -wins each but, b.V reason of a greeter number of minor placc-gettcrs. Freedman ranks [or the firsttime as the leading Victorian trainer.
