Air and Mrs G. M. Hanson have returned to Palmerston North from an enjoyable visit to Suva, where Mr Hanson took part in the annual bowling tournament.
Miss V. Hoss, of New Plymouth, is spending a few days in Palmerston North.
Miss Tliora Hice, of Wellington, is visiting Palmerston North. Misses V. M. Berryman and I. M. Rutledge, of Palmerstort. North, have left to join the Maunganui on her Islands cruise, Mrs L. G. H. Sinclair and Mrs Williamson, of Palmerston North, are visiting Plimmerton. Mrs A. E. Stephens, of 18S Albert Street, left by car on Saturday for a. holiday in Hawke’s Bay. She will travel by ’plane from Napier to Gisborne and will proceed later to Auckland. Dr Elizabeth Gunn, of Wellington, ncting-Director of School Hygiene, is visiting Palmerston North to. examine prospective candidates for the teaching profession. Mrs J. Armistead. of Hopelands, has returned home after having been abroad for two years, visiting a daughter in India and another in England
