Mr Boyd Neel, the young English conductor, has accepted an invitation from the authorities of the Salzburg Music Festival to take his orchestra to Salzburg for a programme of English music to he given at the Mozarteum on August 27. This, it is believed will he the first time that an English orchestra has taken part in the Festival. Mr Neel and his orchestra of 18 players will be accompanied by Mr Leon Goossens.
