LONDON SHEEPSKIN SALES.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received tho following cable from their head office, London, on the sheepskin sales recently held: There was a fail- attendance of buyers, Home trade, America, and the Continent operating. Competition was 6low and withdrawals were heavy, meetly clothing skins. As compared with the June sale all descriptions of New Zealand skins were par to 5 por cent, lower. Prices were:—Merino, not quoted; crossbred, 3to f.w., finel3ld to 164 d; 3 to f.w., medium and coainc, lOd to 15d; A to l, lo4il to 134 d; 4 to 4 medium and coarse, 9d to 13d; short shorn, 9d to lid. Lambs. lOid to 16id.
