LEGACY OF £15,000.
MELBOURNE WHARF WORKER. The Sunday Graphic says: “Mr William Wilson, wharf labourer, of Melbourne, reached Tilbury after 37 years in Australia to claim an inheritance of £15,000. “Mr Wilson came in response to a broadcast .appeal for his whereabouts. He had to borrow some money from a friend at Tilbury. He said: ‘I am not interested in London’s tubes and motorcars. I have had enough of England and I am goin gto Australia within a week.’ ”
