RUGBY LEAGUE TOUR.
INVITATION TO TEAM MATE,
Received August 4, 8.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 3
Regarding the cabled invitation from New Zealand for Fred Tottey to accompany the Rugby League tourists to England, Mr Miller stated that the Board of Control desired fuller particulars. The hoard was likely to grant permission providing there was no disposition to flout its original decision. Tottey, who is elated at his team mates’ wonderful comradeship, is preparing to leave on Thursday.
Tottey was originally selected, hut was unable to pass the medical examination.
