(From Om Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, Aug. 3. The rainfall for July was 1.37 in., while for the past seven months it was 16.15 in. Mr and Mrs W Higgins and the Misses Higgins, of Waikanae. who are on lour, expect to return to New Zealand in September. Nurse Empson, who has been spending a holiday with her parents in Tasmnr. Road, has returned to the Palmerston North Hospital. The funeral of the late Mrs Roxburgh took place on Saturday, when there was a representative attendance. Rev IVI. Jackson conducted the service.
