(From Our Own Correspondent.) AOKAUTERE, Aug. 4. The winners of the prizes at the Hall Committee’s fortnightly euchre tournament were: Ladies, Misses M. and I. Anderson; men, Messrs W. Anderson and J. Atkinson. On Monday evening, the Linton District Miniature Rifle Club fired on the local raiige in the inter-club competition matches for the City and Hansen Cups, as well as a challenge match for the Hopcroft Shield, which the local club again successfully defended. Mr W. H. Hopcroft, president, welcomed the visitors, Mr D. Mcßrearty replying on behalf of the Linton Club. The results were as follow:—A Grade, Aokautere: A. Brill, 70—67—137; F.
