ART UNION WINNER.
YOUNG MAN’S LUCK. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 4. The winner of the £2OOO prize in the “All For Me” art union is Mr Patrick C’onsedine, single, aged 22, who lives with his widowed mother at 167 Edinburgh Street, Spreydon. Mr Consedine wanted to keep his good lusck a close secret, but he could not resist the temptation to tell a number of friends with the result that to-day the secret leaked .out. Mr Consedine is employed by a motor mechanic and about a month ago met with an accident which caused an injury to his leg, and lie still has to receive daily massage treatment. The winner spent this morning'in the company of his employer, keeping well clear of newspaper reporters and salesmen.
