BAND PROGRAMME.
The Palmerston North City Band paid a visit to Ayvapuni Home on Sunday afternoon and rendered an excellent programme, yvliich yvas greatly appreciated. At the conclusion of the items, Air IT. J. Canton, on behalf of the inmates, proposed a veto of thanks to the performers yvliich was carried by acclamation. Air AV. R. Kells responded on behalf of the band, saying that it yvas a pleasure to entertain the inmates.
