A RECIPE.

COCONUT BISCUITS. Seven ounces flour, 2Joz olive oil, 3J oz sugar, ljoz grated coconut, 2 eggs, 1 orange. Place the flour in a heap on a pas-try-board and make a hole in the centre. In the latter place the oil, an egg, coconut, %he juice of half an orange and 2Joz of sugar. Mix well together and roll out the pastry until it. is a quarter of an inch thick. Form the latter into discs two and a half inches wide. Place the latter in a pattv-pnn. moisten the surface of the biscuits with the yolk- of a.n egg, diluted in water, sprinkle with the rest of the sugar and bake in the oven for 20 minutes. |
