CLAIM FOR DAMAGES.
•DEFENDANT SUCCESSFUL. Per Press Association. NAPIER, Aug. 6. Judgment for defendant, Thomas Agnew. farmer, of Crownthorpe, was entered by Mr Justice Reed in the Supreme Court after the jury had'returned a verdict that the defendant had not been negligent. The case was a sequel to an intersection accident in which Lancelot Rise, farmer, Tutira, who was injured, sought general damages amounting to £ISOO and special damages of £72 6s 6d.
