MOTOR COLLISION CASE.

DAMAGES AWARDED. Damages totalling £452 9s 2d were awarded in the case heard in the Supreme Court yesterday, in which Frederick Napier Miller, cheese-maker, of Dannevirko, claimed £IOOO general damages and £142 9s 2d special damages from Douglas Harold Oiochetto, hotelkeeper, of Auckland, as the outcome of a collision between a mtorcycle ridden by plaintiff and a motorcar driven by defendant near the'Papatawa railway crossing on November 22 of last year. Messrs A. M. Ongley and P. W. Dorrington (Dannevirko). appeared foi plaintiff and Air T. F'. Relling for defendant. After the hearing of the case the jury returned a verdict for plaintiff for” £325 general damages and £127 9 S 2d special damages.
