NEXT SESSION’S WORK.
SUPERANNUATION BILL. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 6. The National Superannuation 1 and Health Bill, which probablv will be the most important piece of legislation in the coming session, will not be ready for presentation till after Christmas, according to a statement by the Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage). “The measure will be passed during the coming session.” he said, hut lie expected the session to run into the New Year, when the Bill would ho dealt with. He was not in a position to sav what major legislation would be considered during the session, hut lie indicated that- the Budget and the Estimates would he introduced early. He had minor Bills that would he presented, but he had not yet had time to study the full programme.
