GOLF CHALLENGE POSSIBLE. Received August 6, 10.25 a.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 6. Mr Hector Morrison, writing in the Daily Telegraph, says: “The golf match for the Kirk-AV in d eye r Cup between a New South AVales team and New Zealand may be played in New Zealand towards tho end of the year. Four leading players—Hattersley, Cutler, Bradshaw and P. S. Jones —intend to pay a holiday visit to New Zealand, after the Australian championship next month. The permission of_ the _ New South AVales Golf Council will be sought by these players to challenge New Zealand as a team to contest for the Kirk-AVindeyer Cup.”
