THE SPRINGBOKS.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I would be very pleased if you would publish in your paper tile proper way to pronounce “Springbok.” Is it not pronounced “Springbuk” P I am, 6tC '’ WAGER. It was stated recently in the “Standard” that the South Africans pronounce the final syllable “buk” and not “bok.”
