Although rain fell in Paeroa on 21 days in Julv, the total fall was the lightest for 'that month since 1924. A total of 4.0 S inches of ram was recorded, or 2.6 inches below the average for the month. Only on five days was sunshine recorded. At Kerepeehi about half a dozen miles distant from ’ Paeroa, rain fell on ten days only.
