TRAGEDY AT FIRE.
MAN LOSES lIIS LIFE. Per Press Association. OAMARU, Aug. 9. Fire early this morning demolished the Railway Hotel, Knrow, an old 30roomed building owned h.v the estate of J. Greer. The licensee was Mr A. McKetterick. David Alexander Robertson, aged 24, single, a shepherd, was burned to death. His relatives reside in Oamaru. The building /was insured for £2OOO and the furniture for £ISOO.
