POLITICIANS’ SPEECHES.
COLLECTED AS HOBBY. LONDON, July 29. Dr. William Maloney, the veteran member of the Australian House of Representatives for Melbourne, told the London Trade Union Club that his hobby was collecting the election addresses and speeches of Australian members of Parliament. “Though they break their promises,” ho declared, “what astonishes me is how much neople forget and how much more they forgive.”
