FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE.

The Ministry of Agriculture on June 18 issued an Order, following an outbreak of foot and mouth disease among cattle_ and pigs at Eyemouth, Ayton, Berwickshire, prohibiting the movement except by license of all cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, and deer within approximately 15 miles of the infected premises, says the Morning Post. The area subject to this restriction lies in the counties of Berwick, Haddington, and Northumberland.
