CARRIAGE OF CALVES.
IMPROVEMENT ON RAILWAYS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 17. The carriage of bobbv calves on the railways is to undergo an improvement. Only J. wagons will be used and it will l>e compulsory to cover them with tarpaulins for distances over 50 miles.
