WOODVILLE. Jan. 20. Mr and Mrs IV. H. Gaisford, of Oringi, are visiting Wellington. Mr R. Warnock has received a position with tho Railway Department. The Phoenix cricket team beat tho Wood villo cloven, after establishing a first imp ing lead. Phoenix put on 152 (Wilson 54, Bott 35), Woodville being dismissed for 74 (Brandon, not out, 22).
