PIGS, POULTRY AND PRODUCE. The Dominion Auctioneering Company, Palmerston North, report receiving a small yarding of pigs at their weekly fair held on Thursday, prices showing a small improvement on last week’s rates. Poultry again was in heavy supply, a total clearance being made at the under-mentioned rates. They quote as follows : Pigs.—Good weaners, 13s to 16s 6d; small weaners, from 8s to 11s 6d; slips, to 235; light porkers, 30s 6d to 345; light baconers, 50s. Poultry. —Best W.L. hens, from 3s to 4s 6d per pair; light hens, from 2s to 2s lOd per pair-; heavy hens, from 4s 6d to 5s 6d per pair; best ducks, from 6s to 7s 6d per pair; good cockerels, 4s 6d to 6s per pair; W.L. pullets, to 10s per pair; old ducks, from 2s to 3s per pair.
