PURCHASE IN VIENNA
Received January 26. 11.45 a.m. VIENNA, Jan. 25. Described as artistically very poor and amateurish, several of Herr Hitler’s watercolours which were painted before the War, when he was an unemployed house-painter and decorator, have been purchased by an art dealer and sent to Berlin. Some, which were bought under instructions by an unnamed German, fetched £1670 each.
