A particularly lively professional wrestling contest was witnessed between Sergeant-Major “Lofty” lilomfiold. of the New Zealand Military Forces, and Dick Raines, of America. It ended in the filial round, when Raines iv£is disqualified for throwing his opponent over the corner ropes on to the iron stanchion supporting the ring ropes.
