TEACHERS CONFER.
EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 6. The new Minister of Education (Hon. H. G. R. Mason) was present at the annual meeting of the Educational Institute, which was opened today by the Mayor (Mr T. C. A. Hislop). Air Ma6on said he was exceedingly glad to meet them all and he Was sure their work together would be very happy. A resolution expressing regret at the death of' Mr Savage was carried with an expression of admiration of his sincere efforts to improve the lot of his fellow men. Mr Fraser was congratulated oil his appointment as Prime Minister.
