KING'S PROCLAMATION.
CONFIDENCE IN FUTURE(From Daventry.) King Haakon of Norway last night issued a proclamation to the nation in. which lie stated that the northern part of the country was still occupied by Norwegian soldiers; “From there we shall succeed in conquering the rest of the country,” he declared. Superiority of numbers had stood the Germans in good stead, but there were reasons to believe that? the retreat into which the defenders had been forced would be changed.
