A table tennis match played between member’s of the Marton Club arid a combined Methodist and Lutheran team resulted in a win for the latter by 54 games to 46.

In an inter-elnb miniature rifle contest on, Monday night, Marton beat a visiting Bulls team by 1352 to 1330. Trio scores were: —Marton: L. Horgan, 68 —70—138; J. Hammond. 69 —68—137; A. Tho sitting of the Assessment Court in Marton, which began yesterday, is being continued to-day. Seventy-six objections have been lodged to new valuations recently made in the Marton Borough.
