COOK’S CRICKET CLUB.
At the annual meeting of Cook’s. Cricket Club Mr T. Titshall presided. The report and balance-sheet were J adopted and the election of officers resulted: Patron. Mr W. W. Cook; president, Mr G. Menendez; vieerpresidents, six were elected; secrctarv, Mr N. Marsden; committee. Messrs T. Titshall, W. Engareham, R. Morgan, A Berriman. L. Hart. N. Marsden; captain. Mr W. Engareham; delegate to Menawatu Cricket Association, Mr N. Marsden. The club last season played 20 games, won 15, drew in , three and lost two. and concluded I runner-up in the junior A _ grade matches. It is entering in the senior B grade series this season. The best, averages were: Batting. Tj. Hart, 50; F. Hart, 25 37; C. Hart. 25.15: A. Berriman. 24.78. / Bowling. F. Hart, 8.29; A. Berriman, 8.84; N. Marsden, : 9.26; L. Pedersen, 11.75, j
