NAPIER.
. A Wednesday. There was an unprecedentfcdly high, tide last night. Heavy breaker came over the beach, through houses, Knocking down outhouses and fences, and one tenement on the Spit. Considerable alarm was felt, but no very serious injury occurred. No injury has been done to the harbour works.
