MELBOURNE, Monday. •The Loch Ard, from Glasgow,, is a total wreck near Cape Otway. All perished except two. • '..'., The Blackbird,, steamer, from Newcastle, has been wrecked on the NinetyMile Beach. . The passengers and crew were saved and landed at Port Albert. The weather is boisterous. The two survivors from the Loch Ard, which was wrecked yesterday, were a young lady and a midshipman.; /" Miss Carmichael, the survivor of the f wreck at the Heads, is"no£ expectedr*tb* recover. There is no trace of the wreck. The vessel went down in, ten minutes after striking. ■ 1 •• , , Tuesday. ; One hundred and eight entries for the Melbourne Cup, and forty for the Champion Stakes have been received.
