Next, try to get three miles of the Karere road — one of which, near Jackey* town, is most urgently required — metalled. And finally, see whether the County Council could not be made to co-operate with the Road Board m opening up the Fitzherberton Block. I object to the building of a Council Hall at Foxton, and I believe m having country settlers represented by country members m the County.
