Notice of proposed taking of Land for a Road m the Counties of Waipatva and Wairarapa West (Ferries and Approaches over Mauawatu and Mangatainoko Hirers). IVrOTICE is hereby given that it is JL l proposed, under the provisions of " The Public Works Act, 1876," to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road lying between a point situate on the main line of road ton chains north of the Manawatu River, to a point twenty chains south of the Mangatainoko River, m the Counties of Waipawa and Wairarapa West, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described m the Schedule hereto are required to be taken ; aud notice is further given that the plan of the said road, and of the lands so required to be taken, is deposited m the Post Office,*at Woodville, aud is there open for inspection : And I notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of the said lands, shall, if they havo any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public works, or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same m writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this- nocice to the Minister for Public Works, Wellington. .SCHEDULE. Commencing at a point situate ou the main live of road, Opaki to Woodville, as proclaimed the Oth January, 1875, and published m the "IS T e\v Zealand Gazette," jS t o. 1, of the 7th January, 1875, lOchainß north of the Manawatu River, and proceeding .thence m a generally southerly direction across the Manawatu and Mangatainoko Rivers to a point 20 chains south, of the Mangatainoko River ; the same being more particularly delineated upon the plan marked P.W.D. 79P1, deposited as above.
