NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under tho provisions of " The Public Works Act, 187(5," to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road lying between a point Bituate ou the main line of road ten chains north of the Manawatu River, to a point twenty cliaius south of the Mangatainoko River, m tho Counties of Waipawa and Wairarapa West, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described m the Schedule hereto are required to be taken ; and notice is further given that the plan of the said road, and of the lands so required to be taken, is deposited m the Post Office,*at Woodville, and is there open for inspection : And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of the said lands, shall, if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public works, or to the taking of such b.r.ds, set forth the same m writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister for Public Works, Wellington.
