A DELINQUENT, At the sitting of the Magistrate's Court this morning, Mr. Crease, a w«»ll-known grocer, was charged with neglecting to furnish a return, as required, under the Property Assessment Act, The case was fully proved, and the Bench inflicted a fine of £5, and m addition to that penalty, ordered the defendant to pay treble the amount of the tax.
Blenkbim, Tuesday Night. DEATH OF MR. A. RICHMOND. Mr. Andrew Richmond, M.H.R. for Nelson Subnrbs, died rather suddenly at Richmondal* Run, last night. It is supposed that the cause of death was disease of the heart. ______________
