■Wednesday, November 17. The sale to-day was the only one I have held during the past fortnight. The yards were full to overflowing with store cattle of a good deserip* tion. They were all sold at fair prices, with the exception of fat oattle, three pens having to be turned out unsold. Sheep were m short supply, and sold well. Cattle.— s93 head were yarded and sold— Fat bullocks of best quality, £8 to £9 ; store bullocks, £5 ss. to £5 17s. 6d. ; 2-year-old, £4 ss. to £4, 105. ; cow 3 and calves, £4 155. ; heifers, £3 10s. to £3 12s. 6d. ; yearlings, £2 10s. to £3. Shebp. — 233 were all that came forward— Fat ewes and wethers, Bs. to Bs. 6d. j ewes, 7s. 9d. to Bs. Pigs.— Well-bred porkers, 245. to 2s;B. ; breeding sows, 60s. Horses. — A large entry was made — Draughts, £18 to £20 ; good hacks, £8 to £13 ; weeds and screws, £2 to £6. Exports. — 47 cattle, 550 sheep.
