THE ANNIVERSARY RACES.

We would draw especial attention to the sale of the privileges m connection with the Anniversary Sports, which will be disposed of by Mr. Snelson ot his rooms to-day. As vre did not receive the advertisement from t lie auctioneer, it was not until late m the evening that we hoard of the sale. We have inserted it gratuitously so that a meeting m which we ha^e taken some considerable interest and no little trouble sluuld not suffer for want of proper advertising. We have been informed by one of the committee that it was arranged the notice should appear m the Times. Why the auctioneer should ignore the order is best known to himself.
