I would advise tbe Education Board that tbe next time to furnish him with a pair of specs. In regard to the site at Mr Sharman's, Mr Browne sajs it is well situated on a main line of road, running at right angles with the railway. .Allow me to say that the line is a bye-road. " I took down the number of children who would attend a school if erected m this position, and by a curious concidence they also amounted l<> twenty four." This is untrue, as wns p..in!eJ .v' to Mr Browne at the time by . ik> of -he committee. The lowest number at t-ln? site at Mr Sharman's was sixteen, and ut Mr Richardson's thiriy-two That the Eduction Board knows full well, as a abort time ago a memori". was sent m to tbe Board s'-*ned by more than two-thirds of the householders approving of the sito at Mr Richardson's, and also the number of children who would attend either school. How our memorial h — been treated with such contempt, I am at a loss to uuderatand. Mr Brown again, and I am done. " Not far from, and facing this sit.; (at Mr Sharman's) ia a cleai !ng of about seventy acre*, which tbe settlers stated may be sold and occupied at. any time." Not so ;it is a Native settlement, and has been occupied by them for the past twenty yeors, and there are no sizns of them selling it. I may be eaid that, I have no interest m tbe school, but if erected at Mr Richardson*, fourteen of my grand children will attend it — Your* &c. D. M'Ewss.
