' Prom "The Wellington Monthly Price Curent." dated Februar : 26th, we extract thR following :— Flour and Grain, — Adelaide flour 13 now worth LI 4. - The 9tockg on hand are very lieht, but farther supplies are shortly pxi.ected of new fl >nr. Colonial flonr is a shade easier, being quoted at £10 10s to £11 per ton of 2.000 lbs., but is m good dpmuml for old flour. No new flour ha^ yet roache* this market. Second-class flour is unsaleable. Oats are m improving demand, Is 10<i to 2s for gooi feed oats, old orop, and Is 9d to Is 10 for new g-ain. Chickwheat ie worth 2-i 8d to 3s. Maize m fair Bunply at 2s 6d to 3a. Pollard and bran plentiful a' £3 10s to £4 for the former, and 1 3 (sacks inc-uded), for the latter, and Bale limited. Oatmeal 1.10 10s. Hops and Malt.— Hops continue m moderate demand at former rates. The cnip of Nelson h- ps is reporte ( to be v*ry good on the whole, though uneven Malt is plentiful, and sales of colonial have been made as low as 4s 6d to 5s per bushel. Provisions. —Hams and ba^on a'e m full supply, and prices eatier. The former is m good demand at 9Jd and the latter Brl per lb for New; Zealand cure. Cheese m go-vi supply at 4J to 5d and butter 6d per lb. Potatoes are overstocked at £2 to £2 5s per ton.
