Satdbdat. The negotiations between the Ambassadors of the Powers and the Porte for a settlement of the Turco-Greek difficulty are now virtually, concluded. It has transpired that the Porte has made a final offer to cede to Greece a greaterexteut of territory m Tbessaly than was recently offered, but positively refused to surrender Epirus ar the Island o{ Crete m addition to territory m Thessaly. The Envoya of the Powers have accordingly referred the Porte' s decision to their respective Governments for consideration.
