OFFICIAL PROTEST.
An official protest on the part of Sir Arthur Gordon and also of < "ommodore Wilson, respecting th<.." action of the Colonial Conference on the question of the High Commistsionship of the Western Pacific, has been received hy the New South Wales Government, anrl copies have been laid hefare the Parliament of that colony. Sir Henry Parkca has officially sent copies to this Government The protest relates less to th.c action of the Conference than to tht* question published as one of the appendices to the proceedings of the Conference.
