SYDNEY.

Tuesday. A grand naval review of the Anatralian squadron, under the command of Comodore Wilson, took place m Port Jackson to-day. The | forces engaged included ten warships ! carrying: fifty suns, and 150G men, inclusive of 300 men of the New South Wales Naval Brigade. The review was followed by a sham fight, m which H.M S Wolverine, Emerald, Miranda, and Cormorant made j a combined attack upon a point to the south, of Farm Cove, known as Lady Maequarrie's chair, whicn wan defended by a force of 400 men with eleven pieces of artillery and eleven (Ratline: guns, under the protection of earthworks which hn"d been thrown niT>, and supported by her Majesty's ship Alert and schooners Alacrity, Beagle, Conflict, and Renard, and Sandfly. Large crowd assembled to witness the manoeuvres. The demonstration was a complete «ucceas, tnd passed off with, great eclat.
