BRISBANE,
Saturday. The steamer Brisbane has arrived at Cooktown from Hong Kong with 350 Chinese. One is suffering from small pox, and the vessel has therefore been quarantined. t Mr. M'llwraith, the Premier, telegraphs from London that he pas come to an agreement for a company to carry out the trans-continental railway scheme, subject to surveys confirming the representations which have been made. A surveying expedition will leave London jfor Queensland m the middle of May.
